Point Pleasant Announces 2017 Leaf Collection Schedule

POINT PLEASANT, NJ - It's time to start bagging your leaves.

Point Pleasant has launched its 2017 fall leaf collection schedule. Each section will have two pickups - one in November and one in December, according to the borough website.

Leaves can be bagged or raked into loose piles and put out at the curb no more than 7 days before your scheduled pickup date. They must be put at curbside before the first day of collection for your section.

Dates:

Section 5 - Nov. 1 and Dec. 7
Section 4 - Nov. 8 and Dec. 14

Section 3 - Nov. 16 and Dec. 21

Section 2 - Nov. 21 and Dec. 17

Section 1 - Nov. 30 and Jan. 3, 2018

Leaves cannot be mixed with brush, garbage or any other unacceptable items. Non-compliance with the rules could result in a fine or denial of service.

Residents may also bring leaves to the recycling center drop-off site on Arthur Avenue behind Stop & Shop during regular operations.
