POINT PLEASANT BEACH – Jenkinson's has decided to delay its fireworks until after July 4th, the amusement park announced on Friday. But there are a number of events in the area that you may find entertaining (see list below).

On its Facebook page, Jenkinson's said it made its decision "based on of the current information we have and the gathering guidelines set in place by the state of New Jersey."

"We are not planning to start fireworks until after the 4th of July," said Toby Wolf, a Jenkinson's spokesman. "We will make an announcement when we have the date set."
