Point Pleasant Beach Council Sets 2025 Meeting Dates
The Point Pleasant Beach Borough Council held its reorganization meeting and approved its meeting dates for 2025.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The Point Pleasant Beach Borough Council approved its meeting dates for 2025 during the council's reorganization meeting on Saturday, Jan. 4.
Councilmen Michael Ramos, Dave Betten and Andy Cortes were sworn into their seats on the council, and Ramos was elected as council president. Also serving on the council for 2025 are Caryn Byrnes, Arthur Gant and Arlene Testa.
Doug Vitale is the mayor.

The council will hold its business meetings at 7:30 p.m. in the meeting room on the second floor at town hall, 416 New Jersey Ave. The meetings are preceded by an executive session at 6:30 p.m. The meetings are livestreamed on the borough's YouTube page.
All meetings are open to the public. Formal actions may be taken. The dates are:

Jan. 21, Feb. 4, Feb. 18, March 4, March 18, April 1, April 15, May 6, May 20, June 3, June 17, July 1, July 15, Aug. 5, Aug. 19, Sept. 2, Sept. 16, Oct. 7, Oct. 21, Nov. 25 and Dec. 9.
In addition, the council has set aside the following dates for workshop sessions, budget meetings, closed sessions and other special matters as needed. These dates are subject to cancellation. If they are held, the meetings begin at 6:30 p.m.
Those workshop dates are as follows:
Feb. 13, March 13, April 10, May 8, June 12, July 10, Aug. 14, Sept. 11, Oct. 9, Nov. 13, and Dec. 1.
