Point Pleasant Boro Closes Summer Camps
Point Pleasant Boro has decided to close several summer camp programs because of the coronavirus crisis.

POINT PLEASANT BORO – Point Pleasant Boro has decided to close several summer camp programs because of the coronavirus crisis.
The boro has canceled both the Recreation Summer Camp and Police Youth Summer Camp for this year.
"There are many reasons why this decision has to be made both from an insurance and safety standpoint," the town said in an announcement.

Also, the town will not have the ability to use its school system’s facilities this summer where a portion of the camps take place.
"At the moment, there is no way we can safely operate our highly attended camps due to COVID-19 restrictions," the town said. "We are hoping that we may be able to do an abbreviated program in the late summer should it be safe to do so. We will certainly keep our residents informed on that possibility."
