The National Weather Service's Mount Holly office is predicting up to 6 inches of snow for the area, and a winter storm warning that is in effect until 10 p.m. Friday has been issued for Ocean County. According to the district's calendar, Friday's snow day will be made up Friday, Feb. 16: "If there is an emergency closing on or before February 15th, there will be a full-day for students on Friday, February 16th."
