Point Pleasant Police Arrest Borough Man On Multiple Marijuana Charges

Scott Lucas, Jr. Is In The Ocean County Jail Waiting For A Detention Hearing

Point Pleasant police have arrested a borough man on multiple marijuana charges after a lengthy investigation, Capt. Robert Lokerson said.

Detective Joseph Hynes arrested Scott Lucas Jr., 27, on Aug. 23. Lucas was charged with second-degree possession with intent to distribute marijuana, fourth-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, Lokerson said.

Lucas was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River on an arrest warrant pending a detention hearing, he said.
