Point Pleasant Police Arrest Three On Drug Charges

Arrests came after a lengthy investigation, police captain says

POINT PLEASANT, NJ - Point Pleasant police recently arrested three area residents on drug charges after a lengthy investigation, Capt. Robert Lokerson said.

Detective Joseph Hynes arrested David Rakowski, 38, Point Pleasant on Oct. 27. Rakowski was charged with disorderly persons possession of drug paraphernalia, third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and disorderly persons possession of a hypodermic syringe, Lokerson said.

Rakowski was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River on an arrest warrant, pending a detention hearing.

Also arrested was Nicholas Coppola, 52, Point Pleasant. Coppola was charged with disorderly persons possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a complaint summons.

Christine Woolley, 33, Manasquan, was charged with charged third degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and disorderly persons possession of a hypodermic syringe. She was released on a complaint summons, Lokerson said.
