Point Pleasant Police Charge Borough Man With Drunk Driving
Arrest made at Quick Chek after officer responded to a well-being check, Capt. Robert M. Lokerson said.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ - Borough police recently arrested a borough man at the Quick Check on Route 88 and charged him with driving under the influence, Capt. Robert Lokerson said.
Officer Matthew F. Nickerson responded to a well-being call at 4:24 a.m. on Oct. 22. He arrested Brendan L. Pender, 41, Smith Drive for DUI. He also charged him with careless driving, reckless driving, obstruction of vision because his vehicle lacked windshield wipers, failure to wear a seatbelt and failure to have his vehicle inspected, Lokerson said.
His car was towed to Sleepy Hollow Exxon, he said.
