Point Pleasant Police Charge Neptune Man With Drunk Driving

Police stopped Benjamin P. Barnaby with several other motor vehicle offenses.

Point Pleasant police recently arrested a Neptune man and charged him with driving under the influence, speeding and several other motor vehicle offenses, Capt. Robert Lokerson said.

Officer Nicholas C. Rossi stopped Benjamin P. Barnaby, 25, 313 Timber Ridge Road, at 5:26 a.m. on June 8 at the AAMCO parking lot on Bridge Avenue. He was also charged with careless driving, reckless driving, failure to maintain lanes, and failure to possess an insurance card, Lokerson said.
