Point Pleasant Schools Food Services Director Retires

The Point Pleasant Borough School District is paying Brick Township to provide food services management through the end of the school year.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — The Point Pleasant Borough School District approved a shared services agreement with the Brick Township School District for food services management through the end of June.

The agreement was approved by the Point Pleasant school board at the Jan. 22 board meeting and by the Brick school board on Feb. 8, with Point Pleasant paying Brick Township $10,000 to provide management through June 30.

Point Pleasant is searching for a new director after the retirement of Jonathan Triebwasser, who stepped down as of Jan. 31 from his position as supervisor of transportation and food services, which was announced in December. He had held the post for more than 30 years, according to his profile on LinkedIn.

The borough school board also approved the preparation of a request for proposal for food services program management for the 2024-2025 school year.
