Point Schools Survey Borough for Children with Developmental Delays
District looking for young people ages 3 to 21 with learning challenges

The Point Pleasant Borough School District is searching the borough for children and young people, ages 3 to 21, who may have developmental delays.
The district is "conducting a community-wide effort to locate, identify and evaluate resident students, 3 to 21 years of age, who appear to have developmental delays or who are experiencing physical, sensory, emotional, communication, cognitive, social difficulties or problems in learning," according to a prepared statement.
This also includes migrant and homeless students.

The district is asking parents of any children or young people who may benefit from such an evaluation to call Special Services at 732 701 – 1900, ext. 5217 to schedule an appointment to discuss concerns.
