Pop Warner Football and Cheer Registration to Continue on March 11

Registration started on Sunday for Golden Elks Pop Warner Football and Cheer from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Point Pleasant Elks Lodge, 820 Arnold Ave., with another registration planned for March 11.

Registration is for Mighty Mites to Midgets Football or Cheer for ages 7 to 15.

Fees are as follows: first child, $150; second child $125; third child, $100.

There are new categories, Tiny Mite Tackle Football for ages 5 to 6 and unlimited weight division for ages 11 to 15.

Flag Football or Flag Cheer is $60 and is for ages 5 & 6 (children must be age 5 as of 7-31-2012).

There is free registration for the Challenger Program, which is non-contact football or cheer for ages  5 to 15 and is not gender specific.

There is a new payment option. You can register but defer payment until April 1.

What you will need for registration: a recent photo (passport size); original and copy of birth certificate; insurance information and also have your child who is registering with you.
