Recreation Basketball Registration Closes Soon In Point Pleasant Beach

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee's youth basketball program is accepting registrations until Nov. 21.

The program is for children in kindergarten through eighth grade and costs $80 for one child, $125 for two children, and $145 for three children.

There is a coed kindergarten program on Saturdays from 8 a.m.-9 a.m.

First and second grade boys will be Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and first and second grade girls will be Saturdays from 10 a.m.-11 a.m.

Children in third grade through eighth grade will participate in evaluations that are tentatively set for Dec. 5, 6, or 7.

Practices and games will begin Dec. 10 and run through March 15 at the G. Harold Antrim Elementary School gym.

All times are subject to change depending on the number of registrants and age group size, times will be finalized once registration ends on Nov. 21, the recreation committee said.
