Organizers are also urging residents and businesses who care about graduates having a safe, alcohol-free, supervised place to celebrate after graduation to provide sponsorships.

Moran said she is asking the community to help fund and to volunteer, even if it's just a minimal amount of time, to help make Project Graduation a reality. The school is hoping to hold the event after graduation at the Atlantic Club, Wall, but that plan will be in jeopardy if sufficient funds are not raised, Moran said.
