Walking begins after the opening ceremony and will continue through the night and into the early morning, with at least one member from each team walking at all times.
"Just like cancer doesn't sleep, neither will we, and, to help us stay awake, we will have tons of entertainment and activities throughout the night," Salvatoriello said.
"Anyone is welcome to stop by even if they are not registered participants to see what Relay for Life is all about," she said.
Teams will have onsite fundraisers going on all night. There is a 10 p.m. curfew, which means anyone who is not a registered participant must leave by that time.
This year's theme is "One Hope. One Heart. One World."
Teams will represent countries around the world such as "I'rish For A Cure", "Chi'na Find a Cure", "Jamaican Dreams Come True." as well as "Ghana Fight For A Cure."
