Scavenger Hunt Promotes Point Pleasant Beach Restaurants
Eat at each of the nine restaurants participating in the hunt for a chance to win $450 in gift cards.
POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — If you're looking for a reason to dine out and have a little fun, a group of Point Pleasant Beach restaurants have joined together to create a scavenger hunt.
While most scavenger hunts focus on finding items, the scavenger hunt created by the Point Culinary Collective involves eating items. Not specific items, mind you — just eating out, at each of nine restaurants participating in the game.
"Embark on a culinary journey by visiting every restaurant on our scavenger hunt," the collective says on its posts promoting the event.

To get a stamp on their scavenger hunt board, participants have to spend the minimum specified at each restaurant. The boards can be picked up at participating restaurants (see below).
Once they've dined at each restaurant and gotten their board stamped, they will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win $450 in gift cards — $50 cards from each of the nine restaurants. Three winners will be drawn.

The Point Culinary Collective Scavenger Hunt started Feb. 1 and runs through March 31, 2024.
"After visiting each restaurant, show (the board) to staff to receive a stamp of completion. Once all boxes are stamped, fill out your information below to enter the raffle. Feel free to leave your completed paper at the last-visited restaurant," the group says.
Winners will be selected on April 1.
