Shore House Site Plan Hearing Postponed In Point Pleasant
The Point Pleasant Planning Board meeting Thursday will be shorter, as a hearing on a proposed kitchen addition has been postponed.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — A hearing on a proposal for an addition at the Shore House Bar and Grill set for Thursday before the Point Pleasant Planning Board has been postponed.
Frank Gullace, owner of the Shore House, said in an email to Patch that Thursday's hearing on his application had to be postponed because information in the letter notifying surrounding property owners about the plans for the property was incorrect.
That information, which also was published in the legal public notice in the newspaper, referenced adding a single-family home on the property.

"The only addition that is requested is for the kitchen addition," Gullace said. "The one positive that came out of the pandemic was that our food business has grown exponentially and we have outgrown our kitchen. We are looking to expand our kitchen to continue to serve great food to our amazing customers."
The proposed addition would be 576 square feet and would reduce the parking by three spaces.

Gullace said because of the mistake, the application is being pushed back to the next planning board meeting "to give us time to fix the mistake and avoid any confusion the neighborhood may have."
