Sign Up for Fulfill’s Annual School-Based ‘Students Change Hunger’ Food Drive Competition

Competition runs now through January 26, 2026.

Fulfill, the Food Bank for Monmouth and Ocean Counties, is once again hosting its annual “Students Change Hunger” food drive competition. Schools in Monmouth and Ocean Counties can register now, or at any point throughout the competition, via the Fulfill website.

Now through January 26, 2026, students and their schools can take part in a friendly challenge to see who collects and donates the most food and funds to fight hunger in their communities. Proceeds from the competition will directly support Fulfill and its network of pantry partners, which serves 1.3 million meals a year to neighbors facing hunger.

Fulfill hopes that by spreading the word, more schools will sign up and encourage students to get involved.

“With Fulfill serving more than 100,000 neighbors every month, the need is great and seeing the young people of our region rise to meet that need is truly inspiring,” said Triada Stampas, President & CEO of Fulfill. “This friendly competition is a great way for students and schools to work together to fight hunger while raising awareness around the critical issue of food insecurity in their backyards.”

Last year’s competition brought in 41,466 pounds of food and $19,127 in donations, totaling 91,936 meals. Last year’s top three finishers were: Dwight D. Eisenhower Middle School (Freehold), Ranney School (Tinton Falls) and Monmouth Beach Elementary School (Monmouth Beach).
