Stephen H. Brown Of Point Pleasant Dies At 72
Coached Point Pleasant Little League for 25 years

Stephen H. Brown, 72, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017.
Born in Weehawken to the late Carleton and Mary Brown, he lived in Jersey City and in Point Pleasant for the past forty-five years.Steve worked as a diesel mechanic and retired from Freehold Cartage Inc.

An avid baseball fan, he was a Point Pleasant Little League Coach for twenty-five years.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Michelle Brown; and sister, Edythe Holmquist. Surviving are his beloved wife of 52 years, Maureen (Timmons) Brown; and three sons, Michael Brown and his wife Dolly of New York; Christopher Brown and his wife Jean-Marie of Lakehurst; and Daniel Brown and his fiancée Jennah of Brick. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Alaecia, Mathew, Brooke, Shawn, Breanna, Devin, Amanda, Samantha, and Evan; five great-grandchildren, Lacey, Madison, Jayden, Nevaeha, and Leland; other family members; and many friends.

A memorial visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 6 p.m. a prayer service will be held. For condolences to the family, please visit www.pable-evertzfuneralhome.com -
