Submit Your Child's Kindergarten Registration In Point Pleasant

Kindergarten registrations can be turned in to the Point Pleasant Schools. Here's what to know.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — If you are planning to register your child for kindergarten in the Point Pleasant School District, get ready: registration packets can be submitted next week for the 2025-26 school year.

Children who turn 5 years old on or by Oct. 1, 2025, are eligible to enroll in kindergarten.

Registration packets are available on the Point Pleasant Schools website. They should be printed out, filled out and submitted to the appropriate school next week, Monday, Feb. 24, through Friday, Feb. 28, from 9 a.m. to noon.

If you have questions about which school is the correct one for your child — kindergartners attend Nellie Bennett Elementary or Ocean Road Elementary — or questions about registration, call 732-701-1900.

The registration packet is posted on the district's website.

The following items need to be turned in with the registration packet:

  • Photocopy of child’s birth certificate
  • Photocopy of current deed or lease indicating a Point Pleasant Borough address
  • Photocopies of three current documents showing a Point Pleasant Borough address
  • Photocopy of child’s immunization records to date.
