Susan M. Tatlow, Longtime Speech Therapist In Lakehurst School District, Dies At 62

Susan M. Tatlow of Point Pleasant passed peacefully on August 20, 2017 after a battle with cancer. She was 62.

Susan was born to Margaret and Thomas Tatlow of Point Pleasant Beach on Nov. 28, 1954. While growing up in Point Pleasant Beach, Susan attended St. Peter School and graduated from Point Pleasant Beach High School.

After she received her degree in education from Madison College, in Harrisburg, VA, Susan dedicated 35 years to the children of Lakehurst Elementary School while serving as their speech therapist.

Following her career, Susan retired in Point Pleasant. During her retirement, her favorite place to be was on the beach with a good book in her hand and friends by her side. Susan was predeceased by her brother, Michael James Tatlow. She is survived by her brother, Thomas Paul Tatlow of Virginia, and her nieces, Theresa Lynn Patino of Mississippi and Serena Smith of Colorado. Cremation was private.
