Teen Girl Hit By Car While Riding Bike In Point Pleasant Beach
A 16-year-old was struck near the intersection of Route 35 South and Arnold Avenue on Sunday.
POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — A teenage girl was hit by a car while riding her bike in Point Pleasant Beach on Sunday.
The girl was near Route 35 South and Arnold Avenue around 11:50 a.m. when she was hit, the Asbury Park Press reported, citing borough police. She has been hospitalized at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
The driver who hit her is a 54-year-old woman from Howell, according to the report. Neither the girl nor the driver were identified as of later Sunday afternoon.
