Tidal Flooding Forces Road Closures In Point Pleasant Beach
The second high tide of the day has caused localized flooding and alerts to be cautious driving in the area.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — The afternoon high tide has resulted in flooding that has closed roads in Point Pleasant Beach on Monday afternoon.
Point Pleasant Beach authorities say the following roads and intersections are closes as of 2 p.m. due to the flooding. High tide at Manasquan Inlet was at 1:24 p.m., according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

- Intersection of Arnold and Boston avenues.
- Intersection of Broadway and Boston Avenue
- Intersection of Broadway and St. Louis Avenue
- Intersection of Broadway and Ocean Avenue northbound
- 100 block of Randall Avenue
- and the Inlet Drive parking lot.
Use caution due to localized flooding, police said.
