Traffic Alert: Milling And Paving Scheduled In Point Pleasant

River Avenue is going to be disrupted and detoured for several days, police said.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Drivers will need to plan alternate routes for several days due to the paving of River Avenue, Point Pleasant police said Tuesday.

River Avenue will be closed to all traffic from Route 88 to River Road, beginning at 7 a.m., police said.

Road crews are milling the pavement and replacing it with fresh asphalt. The work is expected to take several days.
