The fields were being prepared for the All-Star games this upcoming weekend at the time the thefts were discovered.
During the investigation, it was determined that the items had been sold for scrap metal at Blewett’s Scrap Recycling center in Howell.
The bench was recovered and returned to the Little League, but the ladder could not be salvaged from the scrap yard.
Subsequently both Rosell and the juvenile were located and charged.
Juvenile complaints will be signed against the 16-year-old for theft. He was released to the custody of his parents.
Rosell was charged with receiving stolen property and released on his own recognizance.
