WALKATHON to benefit Families for Safe Street NJ.
The Women's Club of Point Pleasant Pedestrian, Bicycle and Vehicle Safety Committee is holding a WALKATHON, Sunday, Sept. 21st at 11 am.
The Pedestrian, Bicycle and Vehicle Safety Committee of the Women’s Club of Point Pleasant is organizing a walkathon to benefit Families for Safe Street NJ.
They are an organization of advocates for victims of traffic violence. Many of the members have lost loved ones.

Here’s the information for our walkathon:
When: Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 11:00am

Where: Point Pleasant Beach Boardwalk (south end by the Food Shack restaurant)
Length of walk: 2 miles
Who: All are welcome! Invite your family and friends to walk for a great cause!
Amount of pledge: Any amount is appreciated
Just show up the day of the walkathon wearing a sapphire blue shirt or top. This is the color of the t-shirts others will be wearing.
We will have light refreshments at the end of the walkathon.
The FSSNJ walkathon which is named, Stop for Nikhil, will be held on the same day at West Orange High School. Nikhil was a young boy who was killed while riding his bicycle.
