Water Main Break Shuts Part Of River Avenue In Point Pleasant

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Authorities are asking drivers to avoid River Avenue on Tuesday due to a water main break.

The break is in the area of the 1100 block of River Avenue, authorities said.

Customers may see discolored water or have low pressure while the main is being repaired, authorities said.

The repair was anticipated to take about three hours, authorities said, until about 3:30 p.m.
