Welcome Santa, Christmas At Tree Lighting Celebration Point Pleasant Beach
Finish out Black Friday by celebrating the beginning of the Christmas season downtown with fun for kids and adults alike.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Thanksgiving is upon us, which means Christmas is right around the corner.
In Point Pleasant Beach, festivities to welcome the holiday season are set for Friday, Nov. 29, downtown, along Bay Avenue.
As it has for years, the celebration will include the Christmas tree lighting and a visit from Santa Claus, kids activities, fire trucks and carriage rides.

Mayor Doug Vitale will count down to the lighting with some fourth and fifth graders who won an essay contest that was part of the Mayor's Wellness Campaign.
The tree lighting is set for 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot next to Bam Bam Burger on Bay Avenue, located between Arnold and Laurel avenues. The activities are set to run through 8 p.m.
