One current Board of Ed member has decided not to seek re-election this year.

PRINCETON, NJ — Three candidates are seeking to fill three spots on the Princeton Board of Education this November.

Monday afternoon marked the deadline for hopefuls to file petitions for candidacy in New Jersey's school board elections.

Current BOE president Dafna Kendal is seeking a fourth three-year term, with Susan Kanter running for a third term.

Meanwhile, newcomer Erica Snyder will be a first-time board member, come January 2026.

Veteran BOE member Debbie Bronfeld will not be seeking another term on the BOE. She served the Princeton School District for nine years.

The general election will be held on Nov. 4 this year.
