62 MPH Winds, 2.9 Inches Of Rain: See Totals In Mercer County

Several roads remain flooded and closed across the county after Tuesday's storm.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — It was a wet and windy night in Mercer County, and while the worst of the storm has passed, several roads remain flooded across towns.

The powerful storm dropped nearly 3 inches of rain and blew 62 mph winds in some parts of the County, with downed trees and flooding prompting road closures. Some schools even announced delayed openings on Wednesday.

But Mother Nature is not done yet. Mercer County remains under a flood warning until about 3 p.m. Wednesday.

Here are the highest wind speeds from Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service:

  • Hamilton Township: 62 MPH
  • Trenton: 56 MPH
  • Lawrenceville: 52 MPH
