Miller said that police spotted a group of four men in the vicinity of the robbery and approached them. Police said one the men, identified as Alfred Kornegay, 19, of Leigh Avenue, Princeton, ran.
As Kornegay ran, he allegedly tossed a 9 mm loaded handgun that was on his person into an adjacent driveway.

Police tackled Kornegay, who struggled, and was pepper-sprayed, Miller said.
He was arrested on charges of obstruction, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, certain persons not to possess a weapon, robbery, tampering with evidence, and aggravated assault, Miller said.
He is being held in Middlesex County Jail in lieu of $150,000.
The unidentified 22-year-old victim from New Brunswick was not injured.
Police found money on Kornegay's person, but Miller said it was not immediately available if the money on his person matched the amount reported stolen.
The victim positively ID'd Kornegay to police as being involved in the robbery and holding the gun, Miller said.
The other three men in the suspected group got away, Miller said.
