A bat that was discovered at Community Park School on Tuesday has tested positive for rabies and anyone who may have come in contact with it should contact the health department or animal control officer immediately.Â

The bat was found near the school on Tuesday playground on a window sill about 10 feet off the ground, Animal Control Officer Mark Johnson said.Â
The area was roped off in the hopes the bat would fly away, but by Wednesday morning it was on the ground and officials sent it to the state for testing, Johnson said.Â
