Cedar Hill Prep Among First U.S. Schools to Join European Sport Day Movement
Somerset School Champions Global Fitness Initiative, Promoting Teamwork and Wellness Through International Sport Celebration
Somerset, NJ – This September, Cedar Hill Prep made history. For the first time ever, U.S. schools were invited to participate in the International/European School Sport Day (ESSD)—and we proudly answered the call.
ESSD is an annual celebration that brings together millions of students across Europe in a shared commitment to physical activity, inclusion, and community. Every September, young people participate in fun sports and movement activities that highlight the joy of being active together. In 2025, that invitation expanded across the Atlantic, and Cedar Hill Prep was among the pioneering American schools to join this global initiative.
Through its partnership with the National Academy of Health and Physical Literacy,Cedar Hill Prep received an invitation to participate in this historic expansion. NAHPL is in partnership with the International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA).

Our students embraced the day with enthusiasm and energy. From team games to creative movement challenges, they experienced firsthand how physical activity builds teamwork, boosts school spirit, and fosters lifelong healthy habits. The smiles, laughter, and camaraderie on display reflected the true spirit of "One World, One Movement."
