Residents can drop off prescription pills with no questions asked by bringing them to the parking lot across from the Mercer County Administration Building at 640 South Broad Street in Trenton between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
"Nowadays, accidental use, abuse, or addiction can too easily begin right from your own home medicine chest," Sheriff Jack Kemler said. "So, please gather up and properly dispose of your unused or expired prescriptions with us, especially any dangerous opioid painkillers," added Kemler.
