A Fun Weekend Awaits As Princeton Celebrates Pi Day & Einstein
From a Pi-eating contest to the Einstein lookalike contest, here's what the weekend has in store:
PRINCETON, NJ — National Pi Day is March 14 and so is the birthday of Princeton’s greatest resident, Albert Einstein.
And this weekend is packed with events that celebrate both. If you happen to miss the scheduled events on Friday, don't worry. There's still a lot more planned for Saturday.
Patch had previously published a piece on the events which will need registration. But in case you’ve forgotten, here’s a recap of all that’s planned:

- 10:30 a.m.: Einstein story time, Princeton Public library, 3rd floor story room
- 11 a.m.: Einstein look-a-like contest with the Princeton Tour Company (registration required), Princeton Public Library, Community Room
- 12 p.m.: Pi Recitation Contest with the Princeton Tour Company (registration required), Princeton Public Library, Community Room (followed by the Pi-rade on Hinds Plaza)
- 1 p.m.: Pi Day Math Circle, Princeton Public Library, 3rd Floor CoLab Space
- 2 p.m.: Hands On Einstein Exploration Station with the Princeton Einstein Museum of Science, Princeton Public Library, 3rd Floor Pop Up Programming Space
- 2:30 p.m.: Einstein Facts and Fun with the Historical Society of Princeton, Princeton Public Library, 3rd Floor Story Room
- 3:14 p.m.: Dinky Train Rides with Albert Einstein (meet at Wawa Station)
- 4 p.m.: Presentation by Benyamin Cohen, author of "The Einstein Effect", Princeton Public Library , Community Room
