Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra Names New Music Director
The Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra has appointed Jessica Morel as the new music director.

PRINCETON, NJ – The Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra has appointed Jessica Morel as the new music director.
Morel joins the Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra (GPYO) from the Charlotte Symphony Youth Orchestra, where she served as the primary conductor for the Charlotte Symphony Youth Philharmonic. She also served as the music director of the Winston-Salem Symphony Youth Orchestra program.
“It is an absolute honor and privilege to be named the new Music Director for the Greater Princeton Youth Orchestra," Morel said in a prepared statement. "I think that there is going to be a lot of excitement for the start of the 2021 season, especially since the pandemic was tough on student musicians who missed out on getting to play as an ensemble for over a year."
