Many coastal areas in the state were flooded, and rain is anticipated to continue into Tuesday, according to the latest forecasts.

Townships in Mercer County saw almost three inches of rain this weekend, according to the latest data from the National Weather Service.

As of Monday morning, the weekend's rainfall total for Princeton was 2.77 inches, the third highest in the county, according to the NWS.
