Man Charged wih Solicitation and Drug Possession

Borough police arrested a man from Chicago on Monday.

Police arrested a Chicago man on Wilton Street on Monday after receiving complaints about a door-to-door solicitor.  

Dwayne Coleman, 40 was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, contempt and soliciting without a permit.   

Police responded to Wilton Street around 1:30 p.m. after receiving complaints about door-to-door solicitation. An investigation showed an outstanding arrest warrant from Madison Township.  Police also discovered that Coleman was carrying less than 50 grams of marijuana.

He was released on $180 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on June 6.
