Man Follows Minor, Chases Them Down Path In Princeton: Cops

Police have increased their presence in the area of Guyot Path, as they investigate the incident.

PRINCETON, NJ — The Princeton Police Department is investigating an incident where a minor was chased down a path by a man.

On Monday around 3: 55 p.m., a juvenile was walking along the Guyot Path, west of Jefferson Road, when they saw an unidentified Hispanic man in his 30s, approximately 5’7” tall, wearing a dark green hooded jacket.

The juvenile told police that the man initially followed them and, upon noticing this, they became alarmed and started to run. The unknown man then reportedly began chasing the juvenile, police said. There was no contact between the juvenile and the man.

The Princeton Police Department is currently investigating this incident and pursuing all leads.

As a precaution, there will be an increased police presence in the area.

“We encourage community members to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police,” authorities said.
