Manhunt Underway for Bank Robber who Shot Teller
Police in Mercer County are on the lookout for the man who shot a teller during an armed robbery of a Chase Bank branch on Klockner Road in Hamilton Township on Tuesday morning.
Law enforcement officials from throughout Mercer County are on the lookout for a man who shot a bank teller during an armed robbery in Hamilton Township.
Several images of the gunman, captured by the bank’s surveillance camera system, have been released by the FBI.
The holdup took place about 10 a.m. today (Tuesday, Aug. 23) at the Chase Bank branch at 1850 Klockner Rd. in Hamilton.

According to the FBI, shots were fired shortly after the man – armed with a silver revolver – demanded cash from a teller. The man then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The wounded teller was rushed by ambulance to the trauma center at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton.

The gunman was described as a black male, about 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a muscular build, who was wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses, black gloves, dark blue long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and tan work boots.
