Jachera received 13 votes as a Democratic write-in, 67 as a Republican write-in and a handful of votes that used various spellings of Jachera’s name, according to unofficial resuts.
The candidates are vying to become the next borough mayor to replace Mildred Trotman, who announced earlier this year that she will not seek reelection.

Moore has lived in the borough for most her life. She is a part-time consultant whose career has spanned the fields of architecture, planning, finance and development and transportation.
She believes the two biggest issues facing the borough are consolidation and finding a way to sustain a community while maintaining a quality of life, affordability and diversity.
She is a member of Princeton’s planning board.
Borough resident Jill Jachera is running as a write-in candidate for borough mayor on the Republican ticket.
Jachera said she had no political aspirations, but several colleagues asked her in late April to consider a mayoral bid.
She believes the biggest issues facing the borough are high property taxes, consolidation and the borough’s relationship with the university.
Some, including Moore, had questioned if Godfarb, a legal assistant at Drinker, Biddle and Reath, could effectively serve as mayor given that he would have to recuse himself on issues regarding Princeton University, which his firm represents.
Goldfarb has been a member of borough council since November 1990.
