Pedestrian Dies After Being Hit By 2 Separate Vehicles: Police
A pedestrian died Thursday morning after he was hit by two separate vehicles in Mercer County, authorities said.
HAMILTON, NJ - A pedestrian died Thursday morning after he was hit by two separate vehicles in Mercer County, authorities said.
The incident took place at around 6:29 a.m. on E. Park Avenue and Berg Avenue, Hamilton police said in a statement.
Per an initial police investigation, the pedestrian was in the roadway on E. Park Avenue when he was first hit by a 2022 Honda HRV, driven by Diego Marin, 39, of Hamilton.

The pedestrian, who was not immediately identified by authorities, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. He is described as a 30- to 35-year-old man around 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing around 140 pounds and wearing all dark clothing.
Marin stopped his vehicle and got out of the car when the pedestrian was struck a second time, this time by a 2013 Nissan Altima driven by Dominick Rogers, 20, of Hamilton.

Both drivers stayed at the scene and called 9-1-1, police said.
The crash is being investigated by the Hamilton Police Division’s Traffic Unit.
