Police Blotter: Accidents & Stolen Electronics

Princeton Township Police reported the following incidents between Sept. 7 and Sept. 9.

 

On Sept. 7 at 1:10 p.m., three vehicles northbound on S. Harrison St. near the intersection of Western Way were involved in a rear-end chain-reaction collision. A Lexus driven by Carol Lande, 71, of Monroe was stopped when it was struck from behind by a Hyundai driven by Donald Dudash, 67, of Trenton. The impact pushed the Lexus forward and into the rear of a Nissan driven b yPaul Williamson, 71, of Hightstown. No one was injured and all three vehicles were driven from the scene. Dudash was issued a summons for careless driving.

On Sept. 7 at 9:41 p.m., a student at the Hun School on Edgerstoune Road reported to police that their Mac Book Pro and iPhone were stolen on school property between 3:30 and 5 p.m. The items were in a bookbag in one of the shcool buildings and have a combined value of  $2,400. No other similar incidents were reported.

On Sept. 8 at 11:53 a.m. a Princeton University Police investigation found that a Hyundai driven by Richard Naso Jr., 60, of Monroe was northbound in the 500 block of Great Road when it turned left into the entrance of Farmview Fields and into the path of an oncoming bicycle ridden by Elena Krieger, 28, of Princeton University's Frist Campus Center. Krieger was thrown from the bicycle and onto the Hyundai and transported to a local hospital after complaining of shoulder pain. Naso was issued a summons by for making an improper turn

On Sept. 9 at 8:50 a.m. two vehicles were driving south on Rt 206 at Herrontown Rd. when a Toyota, driven by William MacCombie, 61, of Hillsboro, hit the back of a Toyota driven by Leah Neufeld, 40, of Skillman, who was stopped in traffic and waiting to turn left. Neufeld complained of non-specific pain but refused treatment at the scene, and both vehicles were driven away. MacCombie was issued a summons for careless driving.
