Police Blotter: Charges for Marijuana Possession, DWI

On Sept. 1 at 2:57 a.m. police stopped a vehicle for doing an illegal U-Turn on Nassau Street. 

Altaf Shaikh, 31, of Somerset was charged with DWI and released with a Sept. 10 court date. 

On 9/2, at 10:34 p.m., police stopped a vehicle for having inoperable taillights on Washington Road. The officer detected the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the car and an investigation showed that the passenger was in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana.

Police arrested Rhea Wagh, 19, of Princeton and charged her with possession of marijuana. Wagh was released with a Sept. 10 court date.
