Police Blotter: Underage Possession of Alcohol and Multiple Accidents
Princeton Township reported the following incidents from Sept. 18-19.

On Sept. 18 at 8:27 a.m. police investigated a three-car chain reaction crash on Alexander Street at Faculty Road. An investigation revealed that a GMC driven by James Turnbach, 53, of Gilbertsville, Pa. rear-ended a Mitsubishi driven by Kris Muse, 45, of Medford. The impact caused the Mitsubishi to rear-end a Toyota driven by Shailesh Shetty, 42, of Princeton. All three vehicles were driven away and Turnbach was issued a summons for careless driving.
On Sept. 18 at 5:31 p.m. police responded to an accident at the intersection of Stockton Street and Independence Drive. An investigation revealed that a blue vehicle driven by a woman was stopped in traffic when it was rear-ended behind by a Toyota driven by Yao Chunyan, 34, of Skillman. Chunyan's vehicle was then rear-ended by a BMW driven by Venkata Pemmireddy, 48, of Somerset. Before the police arrived, the blue vehicle left the scene without leaving her information. No one was injured. Chunyan was issued a summons for following too closely. Anyone with information on the vehicle that left the scene is encouraged to contact Cpl. Castro at 609.921.2100 ext 1888.

On Sept. 18 at 5:33 p.m., police responded to an accident on Route 27 just north of Snowden Lane and found that Jennifer Malone, 18, of North Brunswick, had driven her jeep off the road and into a mailbox. Malone was issued a summons for careless driving.
On Sept. 18 at 5:47 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 17 near River Road. An investigation revealed that both vehicles were southbound on Rt. 27. A Volkswagen driven by Jessica Crawford, 22, of Somerset, was stopped in traffic when it was rear-ended by a Ford driven by Susan McKinney, 66, of Trenton. Both vehicles were driven from the scene, and McKinney was issued a summons for careless driving.

On Sept. 19 at 10:38 p.m. police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 206 near Hillside Avenue and discovered that a passenger in the vehicle, Oliver Nava Ortiz, 20, of Summit, was in possession of alcohol and under age 21. He was charged with underage possession of alcohol and possession of alcohol in a motor vehicle. He was released at the scene.Â
