Police Dispatch Moves to Valley Road
Joint police patrols between the Borough and Township Police will begin on Wednesday Dec. 5.

Beginning Friday, Nov. 30 at 8 a.m., Princeton Borough Police dispatch and other police communications will move to the Township Police Building at 1 Valley Rd. and the police console at Borough Hall will no longer be staffed.Â
Anyone who wants to report an incident in person to the Borough Police should do so at 1 Valley Rd. Princeton Borough Police Department may also be reached by calling 924-4141.Â

Beginning Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at 6:30 a.m., joint police patrols will begin.
The Borough Police administration and the detective bureau have already moved to Valley Road.Â

"Both the Princeton Borough and Princeton Township Police Departments are committed to the level of service that has been traditionally provided to the Princeton Community," reads a department press release. "We all appreciate the support that you’ve shown us during this transition period."
Police operations for the current Township and Borough departments will continue separately but at the Valley Rd. location until Jan. 1, 2013 at which time all operations will combine.Â
