Police Log: Stolen Jewelry, Stolen Bikes, Phone

The following incidents were reported to Princeton Township Police. All of the incidents were reported on Aug. 24, 2012.

 

On Aug. 24 at 1:33 p.m., a Honda driven by Rajashekh Dodamani, 40, of Plainsboro and a Toyota driven by Frances Duckett, 74, of Roosevelt. were driving south on State Road at the intersection of Ewing Street when the Toyota struck the rear of the Honda. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene. Duckett was issued a summons for careless driving.

On Aug. 24 at 3:41 p.m., a resident of Tupelo Row reported that sometime during the day on July 10, an unknown person or persons entered their apartment and took jewelry valued in excess of $4,000. There was no sign of forced entry, and no additional items were reported taken.

On Aug. 24 5:25 p.m., a caller reported that while visiting a doctor’s office in the 400 block of N. Harrison Street she left her phone unattended for short time only to discover the phone missing when she returned to get it. The phone is valued at $300, and there were no other incidents of similar thefts reported.  

On Aug. 24 at 7:41 p.m., a caller in the 300 block of Dodds Lane reported that sometime between August 18 and the time of the call, two bicycles were removed from his home garage. The total value of the bikes is $1,800.
