Princeton Councilwoman Pirone Lambros Announces Run For 3rd Term
Two council seats will be up for election this November.

PRINCETON, NJ – Councilwoman Michelle Pirone Lambros officially announced her campaign for reelection to Princeton Council on Tuesday.
Pirone Lambros is seeking a third term in office.
“As we continue to make progress in Princeton, I am proud of the work we have accomplished and remain committed to the challenges ahead,” Pirone Lambros said. “This campaign is about building on that foundation, ensuring that Princeton remains a thriving, inclusive, and sustainable community for all.”

The Council member has played a vital role in shaping Princeton’s policies, focusing on economic growth, housing affordability, public safety, and infrastructure improvements.
Over the years, she has spearheaded initiatives like the Small Business Resiliency Fund and the creation of Princeton’s Special Improvement District, and was instrumental in implementing smart growth policies to expand diverse housing options.

As Fire Commissioner and member of Public Safety, she led efforts to strengthen the fire department, while her work on the University Negotiating Committee helped secure crucial funding for municipal services, including a five-year, $50 million voluntary payment agreement with Princeton University.
Additionally, Pirone Lambros has championed sustainable transportation and public art programs to enhance community engagement and livability.
“As Princeton continues to grow, we must ensure our policies reflect the needs of all residents,” the council woman said in a statement. “We have made great strides in economic development, sustainability, and affordability, and I look forward to continuing this work with the support of the community.”
The upcoming election in Princeton will determine key municipal positions, including two seats on the Princeton Council.
The primary election in NJ is scheduled for Tuesday, June 10, and the general election will be on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
