Princeton Dems Kick Off Campaign

The Democratic mayoral candidate and six candidates running for Princeton council will kick off their campaign this weekend.

 

Princeton's Democratic mayoral candidate Liz Lempert and Democratic council candidates Jo Butler, Jenny Crumiller, Heather Howard, Lance Liverman, Bernie Miller and Patrick Simon will kicking off their fall campaign at two events this weekend:

  • A wine and cheese reception/fundraiser at the home of Lisa Fischetti, 176 Parkside Drive, Princeton on Saturday, Sept. 8 from 4 to 6 p.m. with U.S. Rep. Rush Holt (D-Hopewell). Suggested minimum donation is $50.
  • Grand opening of the Princeton Democratic Campaign Headquarters on 217 Nassau Street (rear building) on Sunday, Sept. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m.. For information or to volunteer, contact Liz Cohen at lizcohen@princetondems.org.

According to the campaign:

“From cost savings to sustainable development, we have a proven record of accomplishment and a vision for our town's future. We are ready to work collaboratively to deliver results for our residents,” said Deputy Mayor Liz Lempert.

Borough Councilwoman Heather Howard added, “We are working together to build an effective government for the new Princeton, deliver property tax savings, improve services, protect economic and cultural diversity, and promote sustainability.”

“Democrats pursued consolidation and are implementing a smooth transition. We’re well prepared to manage the new Princeton,” said Township Committeeman Bernie Miller.
