Many Princeton Residents Still in the Dark

Utility crews were expected to be working throughout the weekend.

 

PSE&G reported that of the 137,340 customers in Mercer County, 94,000 lost electricity during Hurricane Sandy. As of Saturday morning 10,500 remained without power, including many in Princeton Borough and Princeton Township. 

Utility crews were expected to work throughout the weekend, with the focus on Princeton (Borough and Township), Ewing Township, Lawrence Township, West Windsor, Trenton, Hopewell, Princeton Borough, Hamilton Township and Pennington.

As some readers reported power being restored, others reported exposed wires down on Leabrook Lane and power outages throughout town, including in the Pretty Brook area and along Mount Lucas Road.
